Women's Golf
Lady Rebels Drop To 17th Place With One Round Left To Play At Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

ATHENS, Ga. -
The Ole Miss women's golf team turned in a second round total of 333 on Saturday at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic. The Lady Rebels carded a 324 on Friday to post a two-day total of 657, which leaves them at 17th in the team standings.
Junior Katie Davidson continues to lead Ole Miss. Davidson is tied for 49th place with her two-round total of 78-82--160. Next up for the Lady Rebels is senior Sarah Kate Cousart with an 80-84--164. Cousart is tied for 65th place.
Senior Laura Evans is in a tie for 76th place with her 81-85--166, while freshman Dori Carter is right behind her with an 85-82--167. Carter is tied for 79th place. Freshman Rachel Ingram rounds out the scorecard with an 85-87--172. She is 93rd place.
Host Georgia moved to the top of the team standings, shooting a field-best 302 in the second round. UGA has a five-stroke lead over second-place team Wake Forest heading into tomorrow's final round. Auburn's Nicole Hage, Vanderbilt's Chris Brandi and Washington's Amber Prange stand at the top of the individual standings at 4-over-par.
Tomorrow's final round action will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. (CST) at the UGA Golf Course.
